Jon & Peter are certified Homestar practitioners. This means we are approved to provide Homestar design ratings for your new home. This is a very powerful tool in determining the overall sustainability and energy efficiency of your new home. As part of our own environmental policy we have a target of all homes designed by us to be a minimum of 4 stars, with a percentage being at 6 or better. This is very achievable, if the right design choices are implemented at the start of the process. Overseas evidence suggests they high rated homes have a better sale price and a shorter sale period than standard performing homes of a similar size, location and design.
